Slew surely can. My hope is that we'll finally see some goals from our wingers again though - in Flynn and NML we have two that seem to offer a genuine goal threat. We've lacked that since Paul Ifill in the promotion year frankly.

Other plus from this - it's come completely out of the blue. At no point has anyone ITK mentioned him at all. I love the constant rumours of signings as much as the next Blade, but it's reassuring to see that the club isn't always so leaky with the transfer speculation.

It seems that he was due to sign for Peteboro' but it fell through - so it would seem he is available - lets hope he does the business for us and we get to sign him in Jan.

thought ifil was a quality championship player and played a key part in our early season run of form that led to us being promoted

looked like a rabbit in the headlights in the prem though

I saw all three of his games and though he was average he certainly wasn't the worst on the pitch.

Incidentally, NML could take over the Jan-Aage Fjorroft song if a success. We haven't had someone with enough syllabals to do that since he left.

Seems like a decent signing for me. We need another winger and the team is crying out for pace. Suddenly we are looking like a teram that might be able to play football and get the ball out wide to two tricky pacey wingers.

Do not care that he is a loan signing. As Bergen says, I would sooner rely on loans for wingers than at centre half. We have the basis of the team on permanent contracts and this is Wilson's first loan signing. Most teams have one or two loan players (look at Adebayor's impact at Real last year for example). Good move from Wilson.

Can he play today? Will be watching him closely if so.

Saw him for posh last season. Big broad shoulders and lightning quick.
