We've signed David Cotterill on loan from Wigan for 3 months...

I have to admit that i have never seen this kid in action but he has a good pedigree even though it looks as though he can play in the 2 positions that we already have a number of options in.

That said, this is the one signing that has taken place since the start of January that i'm actually quite excited by.

Doesn't excite me at all to be honest.

Seems strange to get a winger too, because he has Martin and Carney for the wings, and he signed both of these players. I thought he only liked dropping Warnocks players.

Not too excited about him. But let's see how he does for us before we go making judgements:)

Maybe he's got a fit missus whom he's going to bring with him. Mind you, being Welsh, it'll probably be a sheep.

wippie, cant get in a wigan side struggling in the prem.

The blades are on the up!

Apparently Steve Bruce wants experience rather than youth, whereas Bryan Robson wants ......................... (Insert your own joke here. I can't be arsed anymore.)

Sadly, its not that easy to get hold of players who are at the top of their game from top sides!

not to excited about this
8 strikers all wanting a startin place
somethings going to give
i see webber, hulse, and another striker leaving on loan soon

i know foxy, so why are we signing players we dont need?
id have thought a cover for right back would have been better than yet another striker!

hes a striker but can also play in midfield ;)

might be better than keef

wasnt anything special. tried too many tricks, didnt come off. passing was poor and first touch needs work.

It really annoyed me when he put the ball past his man and instead of chasing it, bumped into there player and went down like a sack of spuds.

Played ok today, he's a bit fast isn't he :)

I can agree with the second part, but the first I can't.

I thought he looked less than ordinary. He has pace and nothing else, not very good at passing, he didn't seem to want to beat a man. Didn't really do anything for me.

But hey, he may come good.

he didn't seem to want to beat a man. .

The way I saw it was that he was the player on the pitch that tried the most to beat men!
