Just had a text message and thought it was taking the piss, but its true.
Another manager, another new start.............
How long will this one last, 6 months. We need some consistancy, not to chop it and change it every 6 month. I thought that he would have done a decent job given time at the job

If it wasn't for the fact that the club is now looking for its 5th manager in just over 8 months, would anyone expect Adams to retain his job ?
No me neither.
The fact that the club fucked up before Adams arrived at the club is not sufficient reason to retain him IF it is decided he is the wrong man. Which is what appears to have been decided.
I believe that someone will have been lined up as his replacement and it wont be John Pemberton.
But it might be someone who has a similar belief system (in a footballing sense) to Pemberton

The club in a huge fucking mess, and it needs one man, time and a stable manager to initiate the change.
If we are in the business of sacking people, then i think Trevor Birch needs to shifted on as soon as possible as well

What a joke! Never been one to come on here and have a go but i am thoroughly gutted about this. Fair enough Adams record was poor with us however from what he's said in recent weeks about getting the "cheats" out of this club and driving us on i wanted us to give him another go. However it looks like we will be stuck with these cheats for another season. If i could i would go down and get a refund for my season ticket for next season now! Absoluteley fed up to the back teeth of this club now, an absolute joke!!!
Wrong decision in my view. I reckon he'd have done well next season. I can only surmise that McCabe has offered the job to someone else (living / working in London?) and it has been accepted.
We will be a laughing stock if we do poorly next seaso. We can't sack THIS manager, can we??

It is yet to still be officially confirmed, but despite some of the inaccurate stuff over the years... The BBC don't tend to report anything without legs at the moment
I can't imagine they'd announce something of this magnitude without confirmation, would be a definite case of shitting on their own doorstep.
Names, anyone? My mate wants Di Matteo in.

But we only had his word about these apparent cheats. He never gave details; just spurious claims. For all we know it's total BS and he's just making it up in a diversion from his own failure as a manager.
Put it this way; he's performed very badly with Championship players; we're not going to get better players this summer so how would he perform with League 1 players. Too few wins in too many games did it for me.

Nyron Nosworthy, and Marcus Bent where prime examples of two players cheating a hefty wage out of the club.
I would say there was plenty more players cheating a wage out of the club, because i've not seen such a set of spineless, gutless arseholes playing for the club for years

Adams' record as manager here is beyond the pale. Four wins in 24 games is abysmal. In the respect that he was brought in and his brief was to ensure we stayed up, he has failed.
However, he was dealt the bad hand of his predecessors signings, the utterly discredited transfer policies of the board and a team that has been weakened since the play off final in 2009. He has made mistakes for sure, but the loan signings were a disaster and it sounds like there has been a number of cancers in the dressing room.

At least Nyron tried his best - it's just a shame that his best was, at best, schizophrenic, and at worst, fucking awful.
