Am I the only one who saw him rabbit punch Morgs just before the penalty incident .Something that lead ultimately lead to Morgs being out of position and struggleing top get back at Carroll?

It was quite clear on the TV as was Morgs reaction to it ,even though all the pundits chose to ignore it ,pity they didnt ignore Morgs clipping the Arsenal player a few years back which led to the FA giving him a retrospective ban .

You have got to remember it was the Newcastle show last night, we can all relax because the big club is back in the premier league. Lee Clark as guest said it all. We were never going to be allowed to spoil the party that was obvious.

It was Easter Monday, probably an old Argie custom ;)

Or, we could man up a bit and stop whinging?

He gets away with alot he clearly gave Morgan nice shot in the kidneys leading up to the penalty incident.Problem is Morgan just took it and didn't react maybe he should learn to grab his back once in a while and complain like the others do .
If the roles had been reversed Colloccini would have hit the deck like he had been shot.

Morgan would have been sent off for diving though, like someone has already said, last night was the newcastle united show.

Glad to see the back of them; horrible team with shocking fans. Was sick of watching them hog the tv coverage as if there is only one team in the Championship. Guess it's easy this way for the tv guys as they don't have to learn any complex names like Peterborough, Coventry etc.

I agree, Morgan is no saint but I seem to remember it was Coloccini who was kicking Henderson the back of the legs in the first game.

I've said it before, Coloccini is a horrible typical argie defender, I would have been happy to see someone just chin him, as missing anyone in a nothing season won't be much of a blow, but witnessing that would have been brilliant

And he was given Man Of the Match at the ground. Unbelievable Jeff.

Too true. The coverage Newcastle have got this year is almost as ridiculous as the election coverage! And it's not as if the media latched on to them once they were top and doing well. They were scheduled for many matches before the season started.

No wonder some otherwise crappy teams and fans get delusions of grandeur that they are more 'massive' than they actually are. Newcastle. Leeds. Oh, and a team from around these parts. Can't remember the name. Must look at the main story on the back of today's Star...
