looks like we should have won by a few more. hills shot was a cracker and v unlucky to hit the bar. glad Porter scored in the end, he did brilliantly to setup the 2nd.

Not with you?
I've been out, come back and it's changed.

First time I looked it gave me 3 minutes of Bristol Rovers v York.

Don't ask me how. I'm a complete technophobe. All I do is press buttons :-)

How the hell did Porter miss that tap in?!

His decision to go with the outside of his foot is perplexing.

I'm certainly not his biggest fan but it looks like he put in a decent shift and played a big part in second and third goals.

So well done, we need some competition up front. Miller also provides that and maybe it'll be a kick up the arse to the others

He went for it with his favoured right foot. Was a tap in with the left but, speaking as a right footed amateur that scored boatloads with the left as well, it beats me how many professional footballers are afraid to use their "wrong" foot

Could have side footed it if he had adjusted his feet, no problem. It was an awful miss but fair play to Porter - he created the second goal by closing down the player and got a deserved bit of the luck with the deflection and it showed some balls taking the penalty for the winner so soon after that glaring miss. I knew he would score - he has never let us down from the spot - he seem to take that pressure naturally -see play off final v Hudds - and other shoot outs

Same here mate - if I didn't know where it was going with my left, the goalie sure didn't!

Porter obviously wanted it on his right, but really should've taken it with his left for a tap in.

Nice effort from hill in the first half. But, what the hell was he doing on their first. He was supposed to be marking their man but left him completely.

Nice effort for the second looks like miller and porter were reading each other well. And a good header from Harry for the 1st.

As I said at the time on Twitter, I think he was caught out by the flick on, he really should have followed his man though.

Matt Hill is a massive problem for us ,nice guy and all that but he is an awful footballer and costs us so many points. Both goals could be put down to him yesterday ,why is left back such a perennial problem for Sheff Utd ?

Don't want to be harsh on hill, but the Colchester lad didnt get caught out by the flick on as he buried his free header!

sitwell not sure how hill could be blamed for the second really. It was a good finish. As a defender I was always told that if they hit it from there it's got to be a good shot to beat the keeper. We perhaps could've closed him better, but not many complaints on that goal.

His free header was to the worst place possible on the pitch ,sorry I really don't like to have a go but how he became a pro footballer is beyond me.

..also it it was a definite pen. Tough on the defender but his hands were high and the header was goalbound..

The ball was flicked on and Hill with his back to goal lost it. I dont think you can blame him too much. Both Colchester goals were excellent I thought.

The first was only excellent because hill left their man unmarked. As you said, hill with his back to goal lost it. Whether its a lack in concentration or just shocking positioning, he should be still challenging the goal scorer

I'd blame him on that one.

Fair enough, but again it still took a cracking shot to score. No doubt though, we failed to clear our lines, but in that position with the way the back four lined up we stopped them getting in behind. The long shot from 20 + yards is speculative rather than being a clear cut chance (at this level any road)

No blame for the second.

Does the defender's little shirt tug put him slightly off balance?
this was my first thought , he was pulled off balance , overall he did well , the goalie made a great save from a good header and he forced the own goal , the run of opposition teams scoring their goals of the season against us continues

Do you have a list of players we can and cannot criticise? It will just make it easier so I will not set your bottom lip going in future? Talk about over reactions tsk

Looking at the highlights properly I think Porter is a lucky boy that the defender knocked in his cross. I don't think it was getting to Miller
