Just hearing what Cloughy said after the game. Apparent O'Grady felt his Calf tighten slightly and was taken off more as a precautionary measure than anything else. They are going to assess him but at this stage they don't seem overly concerned thankfully.

Fingers crossed it is just down to the lack of competitive match action. He will miss the weekends game but should hopefully be back in time for the fleetwood game and then he's cup tied for the visit of Southampton anyway I believe?.

Problem with a dodgy calf is that it can go pop at any time (feels like you have been shot and makes a loud popping noise) - it's often a symptom of other ligaments being too tight - like the ham string - which puts more pressure on the calf muscle when initiating a sprint from a standing start. It may sound a bit innocuous but it could develop into a 4-6 week lay off if you're not careful - and once it's popped it can take 3-4 months to fully heal - depending on the age of the player
