I've said Seriki all along
Defend by attacking, if we give possession away we'll concede more often than not, and it has been that way since Souttar got injured.

Only problem with Seriki at the moment is he looks as though he's too excited when he gets the ball and overruns it, he then goes in a bit rashly to try to keep it. If he improves his touch and control he'll be a superstar

Seriki is ours, I’d start him as much as possible, especially at home. Even if he makes a mistake he’s got the recovery pace to make up for it. The kids electric and looks a prem player in the making.

I do think Gilchrist has been the weak link for most of the season. However Wilder was still picking him ahead of Seriki so I find it odd a player who played just about every game was dropped from the squad. Not even a slot on the bench. I wonder of there is some lucrative add ons for Gilchrist or Chelsea dependant on appearances although that would seem like a silly thing to worry about during a promotion push.

He dropped out the squad because you can only have 5 loans in the match day squad but then he got injured in training and has been back at Chelsea receiving treatment. Only recently rejoined the squad. A fair bit of his absence has been down to the injury.

Yes I understand the 5 loans rule but he dropped out because one of them was a right back. If he was injured before Clarke coming in then it would make sense.

As far as I know he was injured after Clarke came in.

Wilder brought Clarke in as a more attacking option as Seriki couldn’t get himself fit at the time.

Wilder was quoted as saying that although Gilchrist had temporarily dropped out the match day squad his attitude had been exceptional.

He got injured in training after Clark’s first game I believe.
