Circle red card

Bloody typical. Football authorities trying to put a round card into a square pocket or possibly oblong. 🤪

If you've ever been to the buffet steak place Estebulo, you will know where he got his card from.
Ironically the red also means I've had enough in the restaurant too.

Service in there was that shit we couldnt even get anyones attention to pay the bill. We just walked out without paying. Fuck em, we had a train to catch.

We should all rock up for the replay with red cards and wave them every time a Wrexham player touches one of our own... 🔴

Allegedly been around for a while but if I'm honest I have never taken any notice of it although I did notice at this particular time and wonder why. Makes sense I suppose when you think about it.

I'm way more surprised someone thought it was worth of a (albeit short) 3/4 paragraph article.

saw it trending on Twitter and wondered why/how people have never seen one before

To be fair, most stuff the public/our fan base on Twitter seem to think is new/never seen before astounds me 🤣

This is totally unprecedented 🤪

Been around for bloody years

Yep, I first read about circular red cards in Shoot! and I stopped getting that in 1981. Someone will be expressing surprise that they don't bother with flags in line with half-way any more.

Wait until you find out they are doing a White card for good deeds in Portugal

I heard that recent news report too.

It made me think in society that white is almost always associated with goodness.
Where as black is related to things not so good or evil.

Does this colour coding promote institutional racism by stereotyping a colour.
Maybe it should be a black card for doing good deeds.

I wonder when we'll see the first rainbow card?

They tried the circular red card in the early-mid 00s, didn't catch on. Remember Soccer AM back when it was good ripping the piss out of it 🤣
