if we want to finish around mid table next year and avoid a relegation scrap then we should be looking to sign some of these players
Alex Smithies, GK, QPR

George Baldock, RB/RWB, MK Dons
Murray Wallace, CB, Scunthorpe
Christophe Berra, CB, Ipswich
Richard Stearman, CB, Fulham (on loan at Wolves)
Dominic Iorfa, CB, Wolves
Matt Connolly, CB, Cardiff
Amari'i Bell, LB/LWB, Fleetwood
Declan John, LB/LWB, Cardiff
Craig Noone, RM/RW, Cardiff
Alex Gilbey, CDM, Wigan
Sam Morsy, CM, Wigan
Jackson Irvine, CM, Burton
Stuart Armstrong, CM, Celtic
Jamie Allen, CM, Rochdale
Marcus Maddison, CAM, Peterborough
Gary Mackay-Steven, LM/LW, Celtic
Jamie Murphy LM/LW, Brighton
Kazenga LuaLua, LM/LW, QPR (on loan from Brighton)
Lee Gregory, ST, Millwall
Sam Gallagher, ST, Southampton
Marley Watkins, ST, Barnsley

Thoughts?

Great thing about CW is he finds players out of nowhere. Before this season I had never heard of Moore, O'Connell, Wright or Chapman, but they've all played a big part in a great season.

There's probably someone out there below the radar who will star for us next season.

my opinion of a championship line up and subs that will be good enough to keep us up next season

.............................Etheridge

Iorfa...Mcfadzean.............O'Connell...Lafferty

................................Fleck

Cotterill..............Carruthers...................Lavery

................Sharp....................D Ward

Subs: Moore, Webster, O'Shea, Chapman, Basham, Freeman/Coutts, Gregory

New signings:
Neil Etheridge - linked with us played in the higher divisions for Fulham and Charlton
Dominic Iorfa - young player can play rb and cb (loan or perm)
Kyle Mcfadzean - linked with us last summer can see wilder trying to sign him again this summer
David Cotterill - not lost his touch wouldn't mind seeing him back here
Danny Ward - good proven championship striker
Byron Webster - another linked with us worth a punt for his strength
Lee Gregory - another linked with us will play for us if given chance

Marley Watkins is a midfielder.

Ollie Watkins (Exeter) is a striker.

I want Morsy. Imagine Fleck and Morsy playing together....

Players who most seem to be mentioning that I wouldn't want:

Kyle McFadzean
David Cotterill
Byron Webster
Lee Gregory

Due to a combination of either their age, ability and what it would cost us I think we could do better. I'd prefer us to be looking at the other end of the age range.

Agree with that . However Kyle McFadzean could be on his way . Depends how much Wilder wants him , and how much he wants to off load Brayford . Me I would keep Brayford but his wages could be the deciding factor , plus our defence foes want strengthening. EEL will be on his way back to Wolves IMO.

I know Kyle fairly well and the interest in the summer was definitely there from both sides (likewise when Clough was manager. Kyle actually met Clough to discuss the move just before he got the sack). I've not heard anything about Wilder going back in for him recently though.

I just think we'd be better off going in for someone younger, with a bit more pace. A bit like Jack O'Connell, who's got the potential to get better with the team.
