Talks of protests tuesday, anyone going down :D

It's about the worst possible time for the future of the club for such a thing to happen. Anyone going in my opinion puts their whinging above what the club are trying to achieve on and off the field. Ruin Mr McCabes off the field plans, ruin the club.

I don't see a problem with it at all foxy. But I won't be attending.

Yes, Sheff United if thing don't change quickly. When the pigs go above us on Tuesday the shit will hit the fan i reackon.

Do you really think it'll impress Pele/the other high profile visitors/potential investors we'll be getting at the match? Do you think a before match protest will help the players to get 3 points?

Do you really think a handful of protestors will suddenly make McCabe wonder about his judgement of the situation?

I am going down, i think there should be more spaces available for fans to park in and around the ground!

I disagree with protesting before the game. But I doubt that the high possibility of crap football served up by our poor manager would impress Pele and potential investors either.

The majority of fans want Robson out now/very soon(if we continue this way). So if McCabe has any sense it should change his judgment. After all, your customers (fans in our case) come first. If people are unhappy with the club, they will stop coming. Which will only hit United's finances and probably on field activities further.

On the other hand Foxy do you think the same people and Pele will be impressed by our piss poor performances and a possible drop into the bottom three of the second tier of England ???
Sorry only one man is ruining this club at the moment - Robson. McCabe needs to swallow his pride admit the mistake and get rid. Not saying at all that i support a car park protest/riot but i can see it happening if Kev don't grasp the nettle.

I understand that folk are frustrated, but tearing apart a club with no solution is just plain dumb.

but leaving a man in charge who is sinking the team is just dumb.

Do you really think a man as astute as McCabe needs a car park protest for him to realise he needs to make a change? Of course he doesn't. He and his staff see a lot lot more of the running of the club and the way in which Robson goes about his job, he doesn't need a car park demo to realise its not working.

A piss poor performance is easier to change and less hard hitting than a club seen as a poison challace to any visitor the fans don't immediately like. Kevin McCabe is in the position he is because he is a very intelligent businessman, on top of this he is a blade. Like I say he doesn't need people shouting in a car park to know what to do.

If fans jumping up and down had their way, there wouldn't have been a Premiership stint to return to in the first place.

Yup - Warnock would've been a gonner a long time ago!

Car park protests mean nothing - they're worthless. Don't you think Mr McCabe realises some fans are unhappy? He's not stupid!!

Exactly.

I will not be going to the protest.

Also knowing our fans if we beat Ipswich everyone will change there tune again.

Reality check !!! we have won three all season even the pigs after their worse start in their history have won more games, if it's easier to change performances why is Robson unable to do it ? Face it we are going nowhere with this performing chimp in charge. There is a club not so far away who have to sell their best players to survive and they are doing just as well on the field as we are after bringing in so called premiership class players they might bet a better bet for investors.

If we are having reality checks, we are currently 7 points from the Play Offs, with a huge number of points left to play for. The pigs changed their performances but didn't change their manager despite being booed off the pitch and calls for him to be sacked.

Do you really think that because Wednesday are on an equal points footing and HAD Kavanagh on loan for a few weeks they are a better prospect? If thats the case, a reality check is indeed in desperate need like you say.

Protesting is just stupid. I agree were shit and have a shit manager but at least give him a bit of confidence before a match.

a car park protest will lower team morale, therefore shitter perfomances, therefore worse games, therefore even lower in table

so how could you do that to the club ;)

exactly right - even though i think the idea is crazy -why would you do it before the match ?? - at very least see how we perform - with a good home crowd we have every chance of beating Ipswich and gaining some much needed confidence

And two points away from the relegation places, with a huge number of points to throw away. We're three wins and a draw away from the top six, so long as none of the ten sides above us don't play, and we pick up maximum points.

We have three wins in the league this year.

To go to the reference to that sack of shit in Sheffield 6, they (realistically) knew they'd be mid table, and/or going to struggle; never mind the Green'Un's letters page or various fora on the net.

While I never expected to be walking the Division, far from it, indeed all of us knew it would be tough in maintaining a challenge, but we really shouldn't be where we are.

Ruin Mr McCabes off the field plans, ruin the club.

Plenty of sympathy for that, and I don't think a protest a la Heath is quite warranted yet (but it's not far off). One thing I certainly agree with though, of ALL nights, Tuesday is the wrong one to choose, for your reason alone.

The post stating that 1 man is ruining our club is confusing me ... Does that mean the 11 players on the pitch are doing their jobs perfectly well - Didnt think so! ... Im not saying its not his job to motivate or improve the players but its a joint effort and i think both parties are at present embarassing the club!

And if these so called 'supporters' decide to protest about something everyone - Including McCabe and the board - knows and understands, they I feel will be contributing as much to our downfall ... Chanting for his head after a match is one thing - During a match is worse but how will the players react to seeing people wearing the stripes protesting against the manager and team ... Im afraid it is pointless and will only have a negative effect!

The thing is Sam, people were getting on Warnock's back after we'd had a bit of near success. Some had turned up expecting it. I certainly didn't agree with the shouting, screaming and bawling the odds. Millwall being a real case in point.

But the simple fact remains that through an awful lot of thin and thin, we were up there and challenging after the last time were in this position, and made a change.

Struggling under Heath.

Again, I don't expect us to be walking the division, but we should at least be in the top bloody half, and comfortably so.

I still can't boo the lads though.

It didn't when it got rid of Heath though, and Bassett only went after he was broken by Brealey, and though we loved Harry, Kendall did the same as Warnock did, save promotion.

We need change, and we need it now.

If you could garauntee me Jewell or Coleman I would have your hand off but I cant see either of them coming tbh ... Im just hoping and crossing everything this is our bad spell and this is a slow turn around ... Only a hope though

I wanted Coleman all along, and I heard that he wanted to come here (albeit after Sornob was appointed) but ........

I never saw anywhere that it was a "before" match protest and only assumed it would be a post match protest, as would be the norm.

And to be honest, whilst Pele was a fantastic player to the sport, whats it matter what he thinks? It's our club.

Do you really think a handful of protestors will suddenly make McCabe wonder about his judgement of the situation?

Depends really if it is a handful or not, but it may just give him some food for thought.

we are currently 7 points from the Play Offs, .

But sadly only a mere 2 points off the bottom 3. We can go in the bottom 3 off the next game, but we can't even come close to the top 6.

All in all though, like I said I wouldn't attend anyway. But if the people want to do a post match protest, that is their perogitive, and I for one would not begrudge them that.

i for one certainly wont be in attendance.

I completely agree that the current situation is far from being ideal, and from the start i had splintersin my ass from being sat on the fence about Robson. I dont like the guy, i dont think he is right for the club. It appears that he cant motivate the players (not that i think the players are blameless) nor does it appear that the he has the tactical prowess that is needed for this league. At the beggining of the season we were scoring goals for fun, with the problem that we were conceeding goals from all over the place. Now we can hardley get a shot on target, although we are keeping clean sheets (Arsenal match excluded).

As foxy has said McCabe must be seeing something that we dont otherwise McCabe is more than intelligent enough to see thats something is indeed amiss and steps need to be taken. Fans standing about in the carpark shouting abuse and calling for the managers head isnt going to get anywhere, Robson wont get sacked, and McCabe wont bow to the fans wishes just like that. I be sending a well constructed letter to Mr McCabe outlining my dissapointment with the current situation, and above all and probably for what its worth my own opinions.

Although i dont expect this to change anything at all, it will get my point over as my "Voice" will be heard ratehr than the chanting/abuse shouting that will no doubt become of the fans that decide to protest outside the ground.

If i get a responce, which i would expect to eventually, i will more than expect this to be full of the usual political horse shit that usually excretes through the various forms of interview/press conference et al, however my views will have been submitted to the club in such a manner that the club may actually hear what a fan has to say.
