pointless player, you dont even notice him, the game just passes him by its like playing with 10 men

We won today, can we just not slag players off for once?

He's done no worse than the rest of the midfield, so why single him out ? We've had dross in the middle for years Howard has only been here two minutes, still it wouldn't be United without a scapegoat.

Oh well, we won, we beat bottom of the league, great

but if you dont look at things deeper, you might not win the next match

and howard just hasnt done it since he has come here, tonge was a better player, so this has to be looked at.

or are you just happy to not look at problems and let problems grow?

Yes he has done worse than the rest.

Dyer has played well
Webber has played well
montgomery is even playing well at the minute
quinn hasnt played all that well, but he has contributed 2 goals

howard has been non existant for weeks

Cough... gentlemen.

No need for name calling thank you.

It baffles me how people can expect him to be playing all these through balls and spraying the ball about when all he does is watch the ball sail over his head towards beattie's head. Howard is a quality player who tore charlton apart at the valley and would benifit form united playing passing football.

we did get the ball down today,

i was putting this exact argument in favour of him a few weeks ago, but the time comes when you have just have to admit, hes not good enough, tonge WAS a better player for us

Tonge of 2002/03 Was a better player, but Tonge of 2008 WASN'T!! Tonge can't get a game at a struggling Premier league side, and every pass he made went sideways. Howard looks more comfortable on the ball also.

The way I see it, he didn't perform for Barnsley this season as it was made clear he wanted away last season. He hasn't yet found his form at Bramall Lane. If he can get back to anything like the top of his game then we're in for some good times as he is a bloody good midfielder. He'd just better hurry the chuff up.

Well said that man!

:)

Hopefully he'll get better.

But today he was the worst player on the pitch for both sides.
