Long
McMahon Maguire Higginbotham Hill
Whitehouse McDonald Doyle
Blackman Kitson Murphy

With Blackman and Murphy both able to play as forwards and wingers it gives us flexibility. That looks a strong team to me.

I prefer this line-up
Long
McMahon Maguire Higginbotham Lecs
Murphy Whitehouse McDonald Flynn
Blackman Kitson

dropping our left back(who has put in consistantly good performances) for a league 1 version of Nyron...also unlikely

Long
McMahon Maguire Higginbotham Hill
Flynn McDonald Doyle Murphy
Kitson Blackman
This is my prediction for the line-up DW will choose
Can't imagine Wilson dropping Flynn or Doyle in my opinion... As much as I would like Whitehouse to start, it won't happen. Maybe bring him on for the last half hour for Doyle? But I would probably prefer Patrick Suffaux's line-up :)

Why would we drop either? Especially Flynn, he's been the best player in recent games

Good suggestion, interesting line up. Wilson seems to prefer 4-4-2 though, with occasionally 4-4-1-1 as an away formation. Has he played 4-3-3 with any of his former clubs?

He does seem to be a 4-4-2 man. Not sure if he's ever set a team up to play 4-3-3 so the team in the OP will probably never start a game realistically. I do think that's our strongest 11 players on paper though and could work in that shape.

Why don't we use this fixture to give Long a break and give Coyle a game?

The downside of course would be that fans will assume that Long is about to be sold.
