Calum Davenport can leave Spurs according to reports this morning.

Anyone?

He went on loan to Norwich as he only played in about 4 ga,mes for spurs last season, dont know if it was through injury or not. He played only a handfull of games at Norwich, think he scored one and got sent off aswell. He's only about 23, quite a big (about 6'4") and quick player so could be good if he doesnt bugger off to Norwich.

He is a quality player would love to have him

Very much doubt it though i can see alot bigger clubs going for him!

would be an excellent signing.

Here comes sharpy singing! He defo loves the guy!

Always impressed me. Would be a great buy!

If we signed him and Killgallon that would be a very good centre defence.

Or if we got that Claude Davis instead of one.

Not a rumour but a few years ago he was real hot property, we're currently short of centre backs and he offers a bit of pace, personally on form i'd prefer him to the hapless Bartley.

Been cleared of any wrong doing with his sister and back to full training, plus on a free i believe.

Que a series of 'worth a stab' puns!

Well after all this to-do with his sister.......west ham really have slashed his price

You know what, that could be a superb shout.

What we need now is a team full of players that have something to prove and are ready to sweat blood into their shirt to prove themselves.

If he hasnt lost any pace he could be worth a try.

I was one of the people championing him a few years ago in his Coventry days but not so sure after all his problems. Worth a trial certainly and as a few have said, having something to prove is certainly an asset that has served us well in the past.

He would be an excellent aquisition imo.

However, he will be in demand by many clubs and whilst he's a freebie, his wage demands will be far in excess of what we have to offer................unfortunately!
