Again though, this would go against Wilder saying he wants pace at centre half. If he's decided to settle for solid over pace then I wish he would've done that earlier, it would've given us many more options in the summer and the position would be sorted by now.

Like the one we should've signed, he is from up north so could possibly want to move back up here.

Millwall would be fackin mugs to sell him though.

Bit of a surprise this one! As others have said can't see it happening. Maybe at least people can see that we are serious this season about promotion. Webster played alongside a certain Dan Burn in the central defence that got Yeovil promoted. That's some height in there! At least we're trying! I would imagine that we've put in bids for several players and this is one of many we're looking at. I remember him at Donny, but he got released from there. He's from Yorkshire so that might help a little in trying to get him up here. Maybe there's a minimum fee release clause we've met.

I'm sure the performance from Saturday will have won him over!?
