Based on the potential shown by Hamer, Vini, Traore and even Larouchi tonight I see absolutely no reason why a few decent signings and some players back from injury can’t make us into a very good team in the next month. Absolute no reason to write this season off.
Underdogs with a siege mentality and no one giving us a chance, it’s all to play for and there’s very much a league there for them to go and attack.
Never mind the battling performances tonight, it’s the quality of our new players that has made me much more confident. Traore especially, think when he’s fully conditioned to the Prem physically he’s gonna be an absolute star.
Well done to the team tonight for taking the game to the opposition away from home, especially when they’re still trying to gel as a team.
