Two good players, really gives Wilder a headache. But, prefer Brooks, we look more of a threat when he’s on one of his runs. I think the confidence will come via a goal, same for JRS. Brooks’s assists are why I’d rather start him!

At the moment Brooks all day long for me. I don’t really think Rak-Sakyi quite understands the work ethic required to be successful in the Championship. Obviously that’s Wilder’s job, to make him aware.

Brooksey should be in ahead of Rak-Sakyi as he accepts that he doesn't necessarily have to be on the ball to be making a valuable contribution to the team! If and (hopefully) when Rak-Sakyi learns how to get back and put in a shift providing some defensive cover then he'll start to look like the real deal. If we're placing bets on future valuations and premier league pedigree than my money's on Brooksey.

Im not sure how anyone can say brooks is better than Rak saki

I like Brooks he has the talent and skill but the football brain and decision-making of a non-league player

Brooks hasn't really done anything wrong IMO to see him not get a game in a while now especially considering Rak-Sakyi hasn't put in a good shift for a good few.

We'll never know the reasons, but on the face of it, it seems insane to let one of your better young players regress on the bench not getting minutes. Especially when JRS is so far off it at the minute and we aren't spoiled for those kinds of players.

CW was the one who properly gave Brooks his chance in the premier, which makes this total exclusion all the more puzzling.

Wilder was asked about Brooks in today’s press conference today. Batted the question away and changed the focus to some of the other fringe players. It struck me as he definitely doesn’t fancy Brooks at the minute for whatever reasons, despite JRS poor form over the last 3 games.

Agree....it's a weird one because surely you have at least 2 players battling for each position.
It seems at the moment JRS will start no matter how he plays....which can't be good.

The only defence for JRS is that his style of play is he can be playing really poorly and hardly touch the ball
Then out of the blue he produces some magic, creating a chance or scoring.

It makes you wonder if the issue with Brooks is more mental and confidence related
and if he's not being played then maybe that will make his confidence even worse.

Brooks does seem to have the talent and can play well
but he goes through phases on being ultra safe as though his attitude is just to not make a mistake.
He doesn't take his man on enough and prefers to stop and pass it backwards to keep safe possession.
Also he doesn't shoot enough, preferring to pass and when he does shoot it never has much conviction, not enough power or direction
where as Rak Sakyi isn't scared to shoot and does seem to get much more power in his shot.

JRS is clearly very talented, a potential match winner but we can't continue to keep playing him when his output is so minimal.

Such a shame he's injured just when he could probably have edged JRS out of the team
Although that would have been a terrible blow for Brooksy.

Put himself about and looked really good.

JRS is unlikely to be back for the next couple so he has his opportunity. Needs to show consistency now.

Took his opertunity well yesterday, Rak-Sakyi done nothing in his last few games, maybe the rest will do him good
