Why have they stopped showing replays after goals and at half-time?
Why have they stopped showing goal flashes when Wednesday concede?
Why have they stopped showing the results of other games at half time?

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, it just seems to have stopped.
Is there a reason (other than the obvious, "there haven't been any goals/highlights to show")?
It all added to the atmosphere as far as I'm concerned, especially the Wednesday goal flashes.

I think the replays were taken from the media students that we had last season. Seeing as they arent there this season thats what I put it down to. It was alot better showing them. We dont even get halftime fulltime highlights now do we?

Agreed it was great having the replays, also good to have the footage beamed to the various tv's on the concourse if you needed to go for a piss.

Be good if they put SSN on at HT or FT.

I complained after Saturday, to Steve Hicks at the Lane. He replied that the reason team announcements are not made on screen , etc, is not known to him, but "we are awaiting engineers to sort it out."
I feel it is not an engineering issue, it is a club issue. I mentioned the pa system , inaudible in westfield corner, and he told me engineers have been working on it this week.

Steve said the pa system at lane is some 20 to 25 yrs old...I actually doubt anyone knows , by that answer....and at the last count....when was that i wonder?..it will cost 300,000 to replace. Clearly something that needs to be budgetted for he says.

Last season there was an ad for weddings "from only £4500" and although I wasn't contemplating marriage at that time, it made me wonder what the top price would be for nuptials at the Copthorne these days.

On the canal barge front, I think the only UK manufacter using an aluminium hull is Sea Otter, so your choice will b a bit limited. Hope this helps

Similarly, when there's an early live match on Sky, why can't they show the last bit to encourage people to take their seats and not be fucking annoying under the South Stand, coming to a dead stop when they see one of those magic lanterns up in the sky.

Surely they don't need to replace all the speakers, just get a new the amp and redo the wiring if needed.

I'm sure 20 years ago the tannoy resembled the speaker I had on my Tomahawk bike that would play a tinny police siren that could be heard a maximum of six feet away. Since then I've been deafened by Tom Hark and more recently by that shit band that "love this city" in an ageing rocker stylie at a volume that means I have to shout to the person next to me.

I liked the shit tannoy that used to let the fans shout at each other for ten mins before kick off and create, I think it was called, an atmosphere.
