The good news is that tonight was the last midweek fixture at home, unless you count Bradford on the Monday evening or unless fixtures change for some reason.

As I said before the game, it's a great reason to believe we'll lose.

Keep playing like tonight and our season will be well over by then!!

The big midweek games for me are the proper cup ones or play off semis. We have done fantastic over the years in these Preston in the cup the other year being a big disappointment. I suppose you could add Swindon in the playoffs.

I'd like to think that the buzz of night games will return when we eventually go back up to the Championship. It's hard to generate any excitement playing Fleetwood on a cold Tuesday night, especially when they bring 100 fans. Wait till Forest or Leeds play us on a Tuesday night whenever that may be and I'm sure it will be like old times.

Just about says it all. This division is killing us. Clubs come here and have their game of the season every fucking week and it's greatly pissing me off.

We HAVE to go up this year and play clubs who won't see us as their cup final every bleeding week.

i know there only a small club fleetwood but for a team on a 10 game unbeaten run to only bring 100 or so is absolutely pathetic as is 90 per cent of this crap division and 4th in league please chris get us out of this horrible league

Hard to disrespect Fleetwood and their bus load given their population isn't too far ahead of Stocks fucking bridge, but you're just never get fired up against them. Last night's atmosphere was fittingly as bad as the game.

People at work know which team I follow and will often ask me who The Blades are playing next. Sometimes I pretend and say 'Ooh I've not checked the fixtures list" when I know full well who we're up against but I'm too embarrassed to admit it in case they've never heard of them.

What a beautiful view. Thank you. I can't stop gazing at the floodlights lighting up John St. No hotels. No business centres. Just a football ground, a terrace and Sheffield without stupid shaped buildings full of stewdents... A pint of Stones or Wards after and a bus home in chocolate and cream colours.

My rose tinted spectacles may be criticised but they make me happy.

Thanks UTB

People forget that night games were mostly shit when we were in the Championship.

I can't remember packed houses and electric atmospheres when we were playing the likes of Ipswich, Scunthorpe and Bristol City on cold Tuesday nights.

And no tacky signs stuck all over the South Stand making it look like you're visiting a fucking closing down sale.
