Thought the whole team played well. Coutts was MOM for me just pipping billy to it, who had a brilliant game.
A well deserved win and makes it 3 consecutive league wins for us. Finally think the team is starting to build up confidence.
Coutts ran the right hand side for me and thought he showed brilliant understanding when linking up with brayford and sharp. There was some brilliant football played down the right hand side putting there defence on the left on the back foot and not knowing what to do. Coutts also did well when getting back and defending when he needed to and made a couple of tackles and interceptions when given the chance.
Sharp also had a brilliant game and took his first goal brilliantly. Thought he did a really good job today of holding the ball at his feet and winning the ball in all kinds of situations. He ran his heart out all match and put effort in allover the pitch. As mentioned before thought him all land coutts had a great understanding today and hope it is a sign of things to come. Sharp holder the ball up well and played a good pass to coutts who played a brilliant ball across the box for sammon who couldn't miss. Thought the second goal was all down to sharp across and coutts linking up together.
Was a shame to loose the clean sheet but still a very comfortable win today and didn't really feel under pressure through out the match. Think the confidence is finally coming back to the players and is making the all grow and improve.
The back 4 are all starting to look a lot more comfortable defending the goal. Think edgar is starting to go back to how he was when he first joined us after having a bit of a rough patch. Still don't think Collins is good enough and nearly put the ball in the back of his own net today. Think he is the only criticism I had today. Never been a fan of woolford and don't think he has been on good form but even he seemed to show another side of himself today and had a decent match.
Long is coming on nicely as well now. Was a bit hypocritical of him when he first got his starting place, but think the Lad is proving he is worth it now. He pulled of another brilliant save from a free kick today and think he is growing with confidence along with the rest of the team.
All in all another good outing and a comfortable win. Keep putting them points on the board ☺
