We beat Oldham 2-0, a big result in our promotion season. Five years on Oldham are second to bottom in League Two and facing non League football. We were going for a promotion spot with Scunthorpe, who are now bottom of League Two. Looking at.the fixtures, on New Year's Day We played at Bury for the final.time who have had an even bigger fall.
Ryan Flynn was playing for Oldham that day.

Oldham had a fair few chances in that game and it still hung in the balance until Billy smashed in that controversial second goal. They were not happy about the challenge on the keeper. Some great skill from Duffy in setting up the first goal.

For extreme paths, none more so than Chesterfield who were playing the National League only 2 seasons later while we were about to get promotion to the Premier League.
