The lad was immense tonight, Doyle mom for me though
Wow, and you're his biggest critic :p
Haha didn't go 2night but he's been undroppable and proving me wrong for weeks now

The thing I like the most about him is he NEVER shirks a tackle or header.

Thought Holt was excellent first half but vanished in the second half as County became more aggressive.

Just my crap sarcasm.
As a constant Doyle detractor I always remember who the Doyle fans are.
He's making me eat some serious humble pie right now anyway.

He's always done the stuff he does, but he's got better players around him now allowing him a little more freedom. Thought his passing was much much better tonight as well, good captains performance

Seldom do fullbacks get the chance to standout in a game. I'm not sure why, perhaps they aren't involved enough to make a profound impact (unless they have a beard) but Harris over the last few weeks has been fantastic and his ball to Done vs. Colchester was the icing on the cake of a top performance in that game. As someone has correctly said, swapping McMahon for Harris is probably Cloughies shrewdest bit of business as SUFC Manager.

Harrris has had that effect on me as well. Great player to watch. Basham, Harris, Flynn, Great squad in truth, Scougs, Wallace when he's fit, Jose when he's not huffing and puffing, Great deputies in Alcock, Kennedy. Proved strength in depth when we buried Swindon, we were a bit lucky that game to be honest.

When Brayford took all the plaudits last season some of us were pointing out how Bob hardly ever missed a tackle. He was just a little snappy at first as well and nearly cost us in the Charlton game. Now he lets his football do the talking and looks sheer class. He is not the most overlapping full back due to his lack of change of pace. His composure is fantastic though and some of his crosses are to die for. The little through balls (like for Murphy against Bristol)are fantastic and his slightly deeper support for the attacks are invaluable. He has developed into one of those steady Eddy stars that may become a legend. Lets hope so. Thanks Bob keep it up.

Graham Shaw, debut aged 17 v the pigs. Good as his Bro ,and Ted were, my choice would be Graham at full back.

Sirius, Did we transfer Bernard Shaw to Wolves. Also were Len Badger and Bernard Shaw England U21 full backs at the same time.

UTB

Shaw did go to Wolves. Can't remember if they were in the U21 set at the same time ?
