Hi mate
We had a meet n greet rendezvous in the Royal Consort with the Lager Gliders. Classic in there. They had those beer fonts where there are no pump clips, the beer name is sort of engraved on the handle. So, you can't actually see what's on offer. He's gone "Bitter or Lager" as I'm stood there confused. Sorry we missed you...

Plug and Taps in Preston is a good place, agreed.

Had a night in there, a couple of years ago, got chatting to the girl behind the bar and mentioned that a lad from Preston played drums in a Sheffield band, I had seen, "oh, is it Dan?", she said, which it was! Talk about a small world.

Also, about a 10 minute walk from the town centre, there is a pub called The Ferret, which is an old pub that has live bands on, usually a few decent beers as well.
