Why is it that someone always has to take the blame, the scapegoat?

Almost nobody is immune, even the fans liaison takes bucket loads of stick on here. People would rather assume that somebody who works for the club does nothing because he doesn't make a daily "state of the nation" speach or because he doesn't getting into a pissing contest on here.

Sure we played badly yesterday and no doubt errors contributed to our own failure. Adams is right, We are a soft touch away from home.

So much has been talked of pointing fingers at personnel, past and present who have all made their contribution.

Long term injured players haven't escaped the spotlight, for raping us of a wage when in some cases their injuries could end their careers.

People have cried out for investors, but its revealed that someone was interested in pumping cash in, he's got a childish nickname already! (Whether he's a legitimate candidate is almost irrelevant)

Now I'm seeing that others are getting abuse for buying a season ticket as if their signing up to Vote Gaddafi to stay in on the X-Factor.

Last night we were beaten by a team who are now 9 points ahead of their nearest challengers, have the leagues player of the season orchestrating their every move and have managed to attract players like Routledge.

Its all getting a bit daft!

Whilst you're highlighting (some) individual mishaps.....collectively they all show just how poorly the team and the club have been managed all season. Mistake after mistake after mistake. Despite the best of positive intentions in your post Swiss, you've just highlighted that. We're a shambles and this season has been demoralising for supporters.

Because very few things in life that go wrong are just because of random factors with no connection. Someone, or at least something, is always responsible.

Correct!!!!

Everybody has to take their shave of responsibility for what has happened this season, some more than others. Anyone who thinks differently is just daft

I'm not saying that no blame should be apportioned nor am I stating that people shouldn't take responsibility. Responsibilities have been given but its the knee jerk "lets blame everyone and anyone" posts without really thinking about it really frustrate me.

Noz is a prime example. He had an absolute shocker last night and proved that he isn't worth the wages, we should be playing the kids instead of him (and Collins). But Noz had an excellent game (by his standards) v Leeds, in that game he was allowed to get forward more and even in that game, a few of us highlighted that he was often exposed. QPR found one of our weaknesses and exploited it. Perhaps in the remaining games he'll do alright. Perhaps QPR were just cleverer than us last night.

Sure there are problems throughout the club, but depending on your viewpoint, the root cause of the problems comes from different places. Perhaps Micky should be blamed for picking him, perhaps Speed/ Blackwell for blaming him, perhaps Birch for writing in a no recall clause... whatever it is, the problem is bigger than Nosworthy, so sometimes we have to stop pointing fingers of blame at the inflicted and decide what we want.

Personally I blame Micky Adams. Afterall it was Micky Adams that signed Michael Mifsud for Coventry back in Jan 2007, 2 days before he got sacked! Roll forward to 16th September 2008, Sun Jihai was having a decent game at right back. Then at the start of the second half, Mifsud was brought off the bench and stuck on the left wing. He terrorised Sun for 6 minutes, before the Chinaman kicked him up in the air and got his marching orders.

Kyle Naughton was then brought in to the fold, following a successful spell him and young Kyle Walker were cashed in on, it was too good to turn down. But it was ok as we brought Walker back, only for him to be recalled by Spurs resulting in us needing a fullback, Noz got the nod which led us all the way to getting hammered last night.

Blame Noz? Nah, blame former coventry manager Micky Adams for signing the catalyst - Mifsud

The Tevez situation is a massive factor, largely out of our control. Credit to McCabe for fighting it and limiting the damage. From there, it's been downhill all the way, with McCabe's decisions adding evermore momentum to the rolling ball.

Championship investment in the Premiership
Premiership investment in the Championship.
Giving Bryan Robson that investment (weep).
Investing enormously in the peak of a property super bubble.

I don't think it has to be the case that someone is always to blame. But there's an inescapable truth as far as SUFC and it's predicament is concerned. McCabe is wholly to blame.

UTB

I blame Tevez.

this little prick has caused no end of problems since he graced our shores, and in my opinion SUFC suing all and sundry regarding the little worm as done us as a club and supporters,no fucking good at all. we made the powers that be look inept and stupid and they will have their day :(
