Afternoon all,

Decent night on Tuesday I think? Blades Analytics and I relive it in this podcast, looking at how we approached playing with ten men, and the immense performances of our defenders (and midfielders, and attackers, and goalkeepers). Plus, a fairly in-depth preview of our game with Leeds this weekend.

Also, as it's mentioned on the pod, I want to include the link to Harri Parker's Easter Wish Justgiving page. This is a great cause, there's full details on the link but essentially it's to raise money to provide Easter Eggs for Children's Heart Surgery Fund. I think it’s possible to appreciate how good we are whilst respecting the opposition? Also I’ve spent 6 months talking about how great we are, thought it would be worth highlighting how good Leeds are too

I mean, you’re tripping if you think Leeds aren’t good at this stage of the season. They haven’t fluked their way to 2nd place after 37 games. Don’t think there’s any shame in admitting that. They’re favourites for automatic promotion cos they’re 2 points ahead with a fairly favourable run in.

I don’t think they’ll need a recording of some goon in his spare bedroom to be confident ahead of Saturday.

I didn't find it negative at all. Was positive yet realistic about a huge game away from home who are 2nd in the league and beaten us once already this season.

There's just no pleasing some people.

I agree with your sentiments at the end completely. There'll be a faction of fans (if we lose) who'll start wearing the Season is Over badge for sure.

Not sure if I’m missing a joke or something, but I feel you’ve maybe inferred something that isn’t there.

Anyway, cheers as always for the podcast. On the way into Tokyo (I now live out in the sticks) to meet a few other Blades that I’ve only ever met online, and watch the match in a pub. Haven’t really been able to watch us in a pub for years. Just listened to the podcast on the train and am buzzing for tonight.

I thought you'd got a fully equipped modern recording studio, an all sorts.

Bladespod is a great addition to the pre and post match experience, these days.
Can envisage you'll have special guests on (no dis respect to Blades Analytics and S2Stats who have both been excellent) like Kevin Gage etc because its that good.
