Disappointing goals to concede.
First one. We look a bit careless at a throw in in our own half. The ball bubbles in midfield and as Peck loses out, we only have Souza back as our midfield and the back four is also unorganised. Souza then makes the mistake of trying to challenge Watson (he should have backed off until he had more help. )
So with the entire midfield gone and lots of room to run into, Sunderland run at our defence. Burrows decides to try close down Roberts, but this means there is space down his side for Mayenda to run into. Jack can't keep up and the finish is superb.
Second goal.
We're down to ten men after Anel's head injury. Souza is playing centre half, and our midfield is Tom Davies. We've kept two up front and look stretched with the game looking quite open. Sunderland break, but Davies manages to stop them. O'Hare finds Moore as we enthusiastically bomb forward! Burrows, O'Hare and Brooks have just regretted their attacking instincts in this photo:
Because Moore's pass is poor. Tom Davies can't get across this time, and Watson runs at our patched up defence and cleverly shoots before someone can decide who's gonna challenge him.

As much as people have criticised our defensive approach in the second half, their only two worthwhile shots were both a result of us getting men upfield and leaving space behind. When we kept them in front of us, they looked bereft of ideas.
