The comments on here don't quite match the highlights. I didn't see the match and obviously 3 minutes can't sum up a whole game. He was left free but their looping header was decent. Wes had no real chance.

I'll take the draw, we aren't going to win every game, unfortunately lost some players. That goal looked like it meant something to McB, that's exactly what I wanted to see from his first goal, he might actually be starting to show some passion for this club and put some effort in. I didn't read it the other day I just glanced past a headline from some meaningless footy publication but there was a quote from McB in the headline that said something like "sometimes I need to be pushed in training to stop slackin" or something like that, real or not I could believe it and it looks like Hecky is getting the performances out of him he's capable off.

Quick shout for Norwoods volley attempt, it looked on target and in a dangerous place had it not been blocked. That free kick has given the lad more confidence. The majority don't go in but every once in a while a worldy comes off and I've genuinely no problem with him trying once or twice a game when there's not too many options instead of holding the ball up.

I've been moaning for seasons about us not taking long range efforts. I don't care if they go in the efforts can play mind games on keepers, keep them nervous and it gives the players confidence

Agreed - gives defences one more thing to think about in terms of how quickly they’ve got to close attackers down. Important to offer that threat and at times in recent years we really haven’t.

I didn't see the game but watching the highlights we could have nicked a win. McB didn't go in the crowd can't see what the ref booked him for at all. I know away we are poor but these are the sort of games last season we wouldn't get a point when we could have won but lost due to our crap performance. Picking up points like this could keep us in the top 3 or event top 2. Once we hit our stride we should be auto promotion. Long way to go yet.
