Bit of fun as it's international break...

There's a chance we could be playing in the Premier League next season with all the glory and status that entails. One of those is that for those of us that play Fantasy Football Leagues, particularly the official Barclays one, we'll actually be able to choose Blades players.

With that in mind and as the rules are you can only choose 3 players from one team, which three Blades players would you choose in your fantasy team...... and if you can be bothered, why?

Obviously this won't include any potential big name signings that we'll make, but don't let that stop you from you from including who you think we might sign too, whether that be realistic or outrageous!

The good thing will be for us seasoned players that we'll have inside knowledge on a few 'cheap' options!

Mine would be :

O'Connell - think he'll fit right in the Premier league and fair chance he'd get a few assists and hopefully a few clean sheets.

Stevens - Very much the same reason, presuming he's a defender who could likely get a few assists.

Norwood - main set piece taker and most creative player.

O'Connell for his man of the match points, he'll be heroic if we're up.

Norwood for his assists as I think the majority of our goals would come from set pieces, I could imagine him being the penalty taker too.

The new target man striker who will be converting Norwoods set pieces.

All will be cheap as we're United and everyone under estimates us.

Sharp as previously stated should be inexpensive and will still get a few and assists.
Norwood -assists.
Freeman he always manages to score!

I don't know how these things accrue points anymore it's been that long since I played one, it probably shows in my answer.

We can actually start thinking about this now!

Sticking with Enda and JOC, but then I'm torn between Norwood and Goldie.

I have a draft league with my mates. It's far better than normal fantasy footy and I'd recommend it to anyone. It means each player can only be had by one team, and the head-to-head format means that even if you have a shocker of a week, you can make it up next week by winning. So everyone stays motivated.

Blades I'd be targeting in the draft are Enda Stevens (will get bags of points for chances created, assists and the odd goal), Jack O'Connell (similar to Enda) and maybe Ollie Norwood (will get points from set-pieces).

I might actually play fantasy premier league again next season now our players will be in it. Agree with Enda and Norwood...would probably pick Sharp at the start as well...he'll be cheap and will grab a few goals.

Changed my mind, got to have Stevens he's on a reight goal scoring streak.

Sadly not. Sharp valued at £6M!!!

Not that he'll play much, but I couldn't help but be annoyed that Lundstram's been classified as a defender 😂
