Just returned home after being out of the house since half 7. I've spent more than i can afford on the beer, but i have really enjoyed my day except for the result, and think that you can't knock a long day on the beer, watching the el magnifico Blades.

The one thing i did notice today is that in general the travelling support has been a credit to club, The Blades in the Rose Of Denmark got on well with the Local's and talking to a Charlton fan on the train after the match he was full of credit for the passion, approachabilty and general good nature of the Blades.

It's been almost 17 years since i did my first away day on the ale at Pompey , thanks to an uncle who was in the Navy, at that tender age i supped nearly 2 gallon and loved it, and have loved travelling far and wide with the Blades ever since.

In general we are a credit to our club, and taking a big, good natured away folllowing to Charlton without causing any trouble and getting on with the local fans says it all to me.

We might have lost, but we are a credit to the club.

Hang on- a piece that long without Bash Hands at that time of day.Refreshment fans will smell a rat .

Agreed, the only problem is the pink shirt wearing lightweights who can't get up the next morning! :D

Spot on Brownie, couldn't have put it better myself.

Did anybody see the Charlton "boxer" at the Denmark? Initially wanted to fight everybody but was so pissed he ended up being the butt of every Blades fan's jokes and even sang us a solo at one stage!

Met some great people, found some top bars (also some that we're more than a little hostile), superb support and performance. All the day lacked was a result.
