As part of the wild speculation over future custodians of the Blades First Team (UK), what about narrowing the applicants down to previous/current links with the Blades and must have coaching or managerial experience?! That way, most of them would be relatively cheap, passionate about the opportunity and could (maybe?!) unite the fans accordingly!!

The ones I can think of (in no particular order) are :-

Chris Wilder
Andy Scott
David Holdsworth
Micky Adams
Russell Slade
Bob Booker
John Pemberton
Alan Cork
Gary Speed
Paul Peschisolido
Wally Downes
Mitch Ward
Bobby Davison
Steve Thompson
Dean Saunders
Stuart McCall
Keith Edwards (doesn't fit the criteria, but money where mouth is time)
TC (must have applied more times than anyone!)

I think every blade would love to see Bob Booker in the hot seat. I honestly think if blackwell goes by xmas gary speed will be given a few months if not the rest of the season.

Id like to see Keith Edwards just so I could hear someone else whinging on the radio.

As for Gary Speed, why is he going to be better than Blackwell, hes been coaching here for over a year now, surely the football we're playing is as much down to him as Blackwell

I agree but he would be the cheap option, like we have now.
