Blackstock says no Beckford to PNE

Not done my research just read on BM. Pearson announced Blackstock not prepared to drop to L1 but Beckford is but not with us. PNE are going all out unlike our under ambitious board and manager. were doooooooomed I tell ya

Missed out on beckford IMO Preston wanted him so went and got him without being in desperate need of a striker very clever if you ask me, probably realised we were a good striker away from being a good side and thought they'd snap up one ready to drop a division. they have probably already enquired about blackstock and got the knock back.

Don't forget there will be a connection between Beckford and Grayson from Leeds days and if Beckford has moved to the Bolton area then Preston is a good local option for him.

Fair play to Beckford for accepting a move that gets him game time if he is not getting regular football in an improved Bolton set up.

Judge your comments bear no relation to what the club paid last season and I cannot see it having any semblance of what we are prepared to pay this.
I cannot see us having struck a deal for Brayford and Cody, where we only contributed circa £3k of their wages.
It is widely quoted that Clough has chased blackstock and COG, , the latter of which we were prepared to buy before he was lured with the promise of championship football.
