1-0 loss. I can only presume Wolves' goal against us was again due to some of our trademark sloppy defending and our away record is probably the worst in the country right now in 2007.

I'll be there. Bit of a rush though! got to pick up my lovely lady from work at 4 in Matlock! see slipped & bumped her elbow wile we were in Malta last week so its painful for her to drive. She bumped her head too but that doesn't seem to have affected her that much:rolleyes:

T'old james saved us there

Good 1st half i thought we played well and sloppy gave away our lead!

2nd half different story complete shambles didnt play football jus hoofed it alot! Dont know what the conditions were like on the pitch but horrible for fans!

Number 11 for them in the second half was absolutley outstanding

I suppose a draw after such a shocking 2nd half performance is a point gained and a small step in the right direction following the Scunthorpe debacle.

It's surprising how things have changed since the start of the season; i was convinced that all we needed was a new CM to complete our squad. I would now say that we need a new, pacy CB and a couple of new middies (pacy winger and a creative force) to bring us up to standard.

Our away form is a massive concern (not won away since last december) as is our apparent lack of fight which is something i didn't think we be a problem for us.

Overall, 4 points from the last 2 games is a decent haul and at least a point against Palace would be a good return from 3 tough games. As always i am hopeful we can collect a win at Palace to give us hope that we have turned a corner but if we have struggled so badly against teams like Scunny and Blackpool i suppose it does not bode well.

Up the blades.

I thought the weather played a massive part in the game last night, whoever played into the wind struggled.

The first half we were dominant, throughly deserved to go in at least 1 goal ahead but the free kick, that I didn't think was, gave them a real lift going into half time.

The second half, they were dominant, and overall I would say that a draw was a fair result.

I looked at last night, and all I kept thinking is that if we would have had someone like Olofinjana in the middle of the park, we would have won that game. We need some sort of physical presence in midfield and someone who can break up the play.

Beattie is brilliant, his second goal may have been a fuck up by the keeper, but if you don't shoot, these things don't happen. Full credit to him.

Must say in conditions like that and when you need play breaking up you need montgomery

Yeh

and another point in the 1st half i thought jon stead but some brilliant crosses in with both feet

I like that partnership :)

BBBBEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

think we still need another defender to add to the squad, a full back. both didnt do well last night. tonge and stretch dissapeared in the second half and it wasa terrible performance. With wind blowing in our faces, we decided to boot the ball in the air, only for it to blow back at us time and time again.

Get the ball on the deck and pass it round. No movement from the midfield at times made it difficult to string a set of passes together and make any dangerous attack, most likely ending with someone just putting a hopeful ball into the back post with no one there.

Midfield needs sorting and players need to pull there fingers out. Time to roll up the sleeves, pull up the socks and get stuck in.
