does anyone know if donny still owe us (and how much) for billy sharp ?

i dont know about you guys but personaly id like see him back at the lane
 

I don't think we will see him back for a 3rd time, (but who knows!) and I understand there is money still owed which I think would go towards compo if owt.

I believe they do, I've heard various figures ranging from 250-500K. He will certainly be pig sick (so to speak) if SO'D came to the Lane but I can't see him returning again, certainly not for the kind of fee Donny would surely demand.
 
cheers for that wards and thanks for answering my questions fellas. The thing that made me ask was ive read about these compo claims from donny and how ryans bumping his gums spouting about how much it would cost and how were gunna need to pay threw the nose for o driscoll when he still owes us.
 
It's more than is mentioned so far in this thread that's still outstanding. He's also got an interesting clause or two ;)
 
if i was ryan or anyone from the powers that be at donny id be watching what i was saying then at the moment. i had heard it was closer too a mil they owed but wasnt sure

Donny have turned down an offer according to the Star (so again must be right as the sheffield star is always right)
 

Turned down a bid of over £2million from Ipswich this morning according to Paul Walker on Twitter. Also a bid of £300k for James Coppinger turned down too

My info from Donny is that both Wet Sham and Ipswich offered £3m for him.

How does Billy's two years at the Lane compare with that of Ched Evans for goals and appearances?

And this is the reason why thousands of Blades Fans appear brainwashed to me. Many STILL think Sharp is Gash.

Stand to be corrected but pretty sure he has the best Goals per Game ratio in the last 2 season in the Championship. Ruling anyone out who has played less than say 50 games in total.

He's that shite his goals kept Donny in the Championship. Should never have been sold. Big mistake.
 
Sharp looked shit playing for us so we sold him. No problem with that. I think if he had been around when Speed was in charge he would have got more goals.
 

id rather have billy whitehurst back ,if anyone pays that sort of cash for sharp they will get the same return we did
