BIFA (an other assorted supporters groups)

I too was a member of BIFA, and also walked to Barnsley although like Nick Jansky i cheated but walked about 400 yards more than him as i joined the A61 at the junction with Hallwood Road.

I remember the Red and Green cards, as well as the Christmas Cards, i wrote in one myself.

It just seems a bit odd, that it went from a organisation that must have had a good 2,000 members to being a bit of a small fringe group of whom little is ever heard of now.

Are there any SUISA members around, perhaps posting on this site?
Names to mind, first only, Martin, Peter. Met them a couple of times. One meeting in the Robin Hood hotel Sheffield in the early to mid nineties. Senior moment limits the recall :-D

See my earlier post. Some one told me Martin Brammer doesn't go these days as a part of carrying on his protest against Andrew Laver. Neither does the famous Titantium Blade who suprise suprise had his name shortened to Tit.
