Quite nice seeing regular tweets like this on X from Leeds, Burnley and Luton fans disgruntled with the quality of transfer business we've done compared to them.

Bearing that in mind, how would you compare our transfer windows to our rivals and is this the best transfer window you can remember in several seasons?

They're probably talking about Wednesday, the Champions elect. 😆

On the flip side they've not had to sign vertually an entire new team though. But on paper we look like we'll be right up there this season. I'm confident we'll push top two.

Think we have to compare windows at the end.

We have brought in better quality but not as many numbers and we lost a lot of key players.

Where as Wednesday have added more plans with some quality.

Sounds like Rak Sayki is coming which is excellent.

We get a good goalkeeper and another 2-3 players I think we are very clear of them.

wednesday havent brought anything like the quality we have this window but of course their fans think rohl can do nothing wrong and their all top signings idiots 🐷

Depends who they've lost , and that they were pushing for promotion with who they had.

I don't think it's just better than our rivals, I think this is a better window we've had for some time, and a better rebuild than 2016. Genuinely excited by the new signings, loans or perms, especially if the lad from Palace comes in. Attacking, young, mobile, quick, all of them (Moore and Souttar aside), and I do think, if injuries are kind to us, we will challenge especially for the playoff spots.

Wilder and co are cooking nicely, and the Blades 2.0 are so back!

The quality of our incomings looks high. But half are loans, so I'm not sure we can accurately describe it as a rebuild yet.

yes but loans can be turned in to permanents by the end of august i think we will have the best quality squad in the championship

If we keep Hamer, lose either Anel or Souza, sign a GK and someone in a forward position who can provide genuine competition for Moore then it’s a good window.

At the moment we’ve signed good players but are still short in 2 vital areas and we all know someone else will leave to fund the gap.

Out of Anel and Souza, I'd pin Anel as the one we could more comfortably accommodate losing from an on-the-field perspective. While we might not have the most sublime set of centre backs, they'd be decent enough at Championship level. Get 10-15m for him and we can fund the remaining areas we need to strengthen I think.
