Most likely not but in my personal top 10.Half time, one down, 20 minute walk to the pub, checks phone halfway there 2-1 Blades.
Arrive at pub, check again..... convinced it's two each.
Last 20 minutes, checking shout box updates, we're hanging on for a decent point......
It was a good 10 minutes after full time that i'd realised we'd won.
Boom.
Happy days.

Believable, right up until the checking shoutbox and no knowing if we were winning or drawing.
Reading the shoutbox you know 100% if we are about to drop points because people are talking about our players not caring if we’re not winning and other such bollocks. If we’re winning they’re nowhere to be seen.

Personally, I like to watch the game albeit from my sofa as a long way from UK. Still gets me jumping about though. Wot a cracking result. Next week I'm going further away... Blades in the sun viewing for me.

I was on duty at our local community centre and nipped outside for the last five minutes on the Shoutbox, pacing nervously up and down the car park.

After the final whistle, it dawned on me that I could have just sat in the car, I get Radio Sheffield reception absolutely perfectly, even though it’s 60 miles away :)

But you wouldn't have been able to "pace up and down
nervously". I suppose you could've stuck the car in reverse/forward if you really wanted to..

Agree.....the Norwich result might prove to be a watershed moment.

If we had lost then we would have been just above the relegation pack and it would have been a major blow to confidence losing to a team thats struggling.
We’ve been slightly unlucky this season, playing well but only picking up draws. We outplayed a poor looking Newcastle side on Thursday but got done 2-0.
However you often find that the best teams are often lucky and the weak teams are often unlucky....so don’t like blaming bad luck.

I listened to most of the 1st half and Keith Edwards was saying it’s probably the worse 45 minutes of the season saying we looked tired.
He admitted that Norwich were the better side and deserved to be leading and he also predicted that Wilder would be raging as we needed to up the temp 2nd half.

This match was what you call a 6 pointer. It was a game we didn’t need to win.....but a defeat would have been a minor disaster.
At half time I was thinking....”I’d take a draw now”.....as a draw would be a decent/ OK.

So to get the win has really dumped Norwich deep into to relegation zone
Whilst we’ve now got a bit of breathing space again....so the players dont have the same pressure as a Aston Villa, Southampton or Bournmouth.
It also gives us a psychological shot in the arm... that we can be losing at half time....but come back to win and win the match fairly comfortably.

Not the biggest win I can ever remember but I’d liken it to having a turd when you enjoy 20 minutes on the thunder box reading the news on your phone. it comes out perfectly formed, is nice and soft and slips out with all the ease of an Albatross gliding gracefully through the sky, and you only need to do one precautionary wipe.

On another note, yesterday victory was even more satisfying as I’ve done umpteen trips to East Anglia to watch the Blades and never seen us win at either until a couple of years ago when I took the young un to Ipswich and now he is on 3 wins out of 3 on our trips to East Anglia. He must be the lucky charm as I didn’t bump in to the other lucky charm. sitwell and we still got a win

I think my confusion arose when I got to the pub and checked shoutbox to almost immediately see comments along the lines of "shit" & "bollocks", so I naturally assumed it had gone to 2-2.
What I didn't realise was those were probably relating to Bash's red card before it got overturned.
I genuinely spent the last 20 odd minutes checking updates believing we were all hanging on for the draw.

Favourite win so far for me, just for the amount of people writing our team off all first half and half then. Not sure what this team has done to deserve ‘some’ losing faith so quickly.

I think by 15:01 the whole team was not good enough and needed replacing 🤷‍♂️

Alls well that ends well 😂

I know Matlock’s a bit backwards but why not just check the actual score if you’re on the internet?

I was in Clay Cross..... need I say more.
Seriously though, the shoutbox is quicker than the BBC sport page, as people commenting are at the game, listening on the radio or watching a stream of the game.

Yeah but it actually tells you the score rather than a bunch of people, some of whom never seem to actually post owt on here, swearing a lot.

We know what the best win ever has been in recent times under Wilder.

Living down south I’d forgotten its mushroom season in Derbyshire.
Need something to while away the dark nights in our town....... unless you're a fan of under 19's Hot Hatch Rallying* round Tesco car park every night.

*Hot Hatch vehicles not a necessity. Any old pile of shit with a drainpipe for an exhast and that "pffft" sound audible when changing gear will do. T's & C's apply.

Same as thirty years ago when they did it round the big car park in Chesterfield near where the hospital used to be. It’s the trademark of every shit small town. I got stuck in Harwich once and exactly the same, up and down a multi storey car park. That and amphetamines. Nothing says small town more than a bunch of kids in hatchbacks bombing speed.

At least that big multi storey car park opposite the doughnut (?) car park you mention has gone now.
They've replaced it with another multi storey car park.

Yeah, I thought it was called the doughnut but wasn’t 100% sure I’d remembered correctly.

I'm not sure whether the old one was falling down or not but one of the advantages of the replacement, according to Chesterfield Borough Council, is ......... "the new one will have wider spaces"
