I have still got my Blades Le Coq Sportif players issue jumper number 34,my nephew got me a few years ago whilst playing with Billy Sharp,Johathan Forte etc in the SUFC academy team.
I would like to know who's top it was back then!

That's too early for Kyle Walker surely? He wore #34 when he got a squad number.

The best casual clothing was from Avec. They had nylon round neck shirts which just said Avec across the chest. I had them all (I think) Purple shirt with black text. Red with black. Black with Red & White with Black.

You could also get the hoodie equivalents too.

I always thought this was the archetypal blades shirt, apart from that daft shield badge.

Loved that one. Shame it fell apart. Well the Laver logo did. I remember when it came out everybody kept taking/sending them back cos the stripes weren't central. The club said something like every one was different deliberately. Aye, but i still want one with the red stripe in the middle where it's supposed to be!

This was and still is the best United top I've had. I've worn it to death and the quality is still there, the badges and logos are still intact.
