1980 because that's when I started going regularly and you've got to draw the line somewhere.
I've not included loan players or those that only played a handful of games...
Who do you reckon and why?

Nuddy for me, though Colin Morris has a strong argument too (and I see some who have voted agree).

Got to be Colin Morris. Old school winger who provided the ammunition for Edwards. Big shout for Mitch Ward and Nuddy and for a season Paul Wood looked real quality!

Devlin because for a breif period the guy was unplayable. Not much in it between him and Nuddy though if I remembered Colin Morris I probably would have picked him.

Colin Morris just ahead of Bradders. Devlin was good but inconsistent, in fact I think I preferred Nuddy for the same reasons.

Morris - my first Blades hero. Remember him running Bolton ragged in one of my first matches at the Lane and getting a hat-trick.

Also remember him being one of the only players who looked like they were putting any effort in during the relegation play-off against Bristol City.

One consistent point about our fans and our wingers though - there were still moans about him having no bottle, not attacking his man and not doing enough even when he was scoring 20 goals / season.

Devlin was phenomenal for a while. He'd beat his man all day and hit consistently good crosses. His form fell apart but I can't remember a more consistent or effective winger, or even attacking player, that we've had than Paul Devlin in his prime.

Ndlovu, on the other hand, could pull something out of the hat that you'd never expect where as Devlin was a more normal player. Devlin still nicks it for me although I'll remember Ndlovu more fondly!
