It's been a tough season for us, but it has to be said the standard of play has increased in the Premier League from our last time there.
For me the best XI we have faced this season is:
1 Muric for Burnley some impressive saves when we were nil nil, which is frustrating because he looks dodgy when I have seen him on TV (he just beats Pickford)
2. Tripper, three assists in the 8-0 thrashing, very impressive
3. Moreno for Villa for the 5-0 win at the Lane, scored and one of the main threats to us
4. Gabriel, OK he had a very easy game but still looked classy
5. Van Dijk, always liked him but so strong and powerful against us, also scored of course
6 Rhodri always scores important goal, just when we thought we had grabbed a point. It would have meant Man City fail to win the league if we had drawn it!
7 Tsvernier, I was very impressed with Bournemouth at the Lane and he was the star man
8. Guimaraes, Newcastle beat us 13-1 and he was vlass in both games
9 Anthony Gordon, I'd never been that impressed with him until the Bramall Lane drubbing, we couldn't cope with him
10 Adingra, another player who qe struggled to cope with his explosive pace
11 Watkins, basically another we couldn't cope with , hope he is as good in the Euros (maybe against better players!)
An honourable mention to Saka, I missed the away match so only saw him for a half, but he was a reason we were five down at half time.
