Congratulations! My wife is 8 months now with our first child so it's pretty damn exciting. I was with a friend who has two 3 year old twins and she was telling us about the birth and early days. All I can say is offer your wife as much as you can; she'll be knackered.

I didn't know you could tell the twins would be identical. Best of luck to you all.

Identical twins share the same amniotic sac (as they formed for the same egg. Non-identicle twins have separate sacs as they form from separate eggs.

Plus, they look the same on the scan, innit????
