For the opposition I would like to say Cardiffs 4th goal against us at the Lane. It was pure passing perfection, pass pass pass pass and GOAL. It was so simple but brilliant.
For the blades I would like to nominate Hendo's last gasp winner at Bristol, not the best goal ever but if you were there you know lol.

I applauded that goal, as did most folk around me. Wonderful stuff, even though Killa was defending like a training cone at the time.

What we've missed this season is thunderbolts, for or against. Plenty of long range hits have gone past us, but largely because Mark Bunn was between the sticks.

So on that basis I'm going with Monty's goal. If we use a handicap system (Monty's being that he can't shoot), that goal is clubhouse leader by a mile.

:)

Most celebrated goal - Nick Montgomery vs Blackpool

Best goal in terms of skill - Keith Treacy vs Leicester. Stunnign goal and sat behind the goal dead in line with it.

Best Goal against SUFC - Mccann for Scunthorpe

Grant McCann's at Scunthorpe.

For us, Hendo's last minute winner at Bristol City is the one I'll always, always remember.

Treaceys was something special, probably best goal since Jags against Leeds.

Agree with others on here: Treacy's goal was a stunner. However, I'd go for Henri Camara against Brizzle at the t'Lane. Rocket of a shot into top corner.

Shame it was the only thing that useless cunt ever did.

(Chris Sedgwick is keeping him out of the team at Preston!!!)

Harper / Kallio's goal at plymouth simply because it made a horrendous round trip worthwhile. However, Cresswell's 89th minute winner at Hillsborough will top that.

Grant McCann's goal for Scunny against us will take some beating.

Robbie Savage’s for Derby was well taken, good technique.

Monty's for us cus it was Monty and we haven't enjoyed celebrating a goal in that way for many a moon.

My experience is limited as I've not been to that many games this term.

Henderson's winner at Bristol was the satnd out winner. Purely and simply for the celebration. I must admit that I enjoyed Cresswell's 3rd away at QPR in the cup too.

The best away goal for me was one of West Broms (however I wasn't actually at the game). Can't remember which, but it was the counter attacking move. Pure poetry by the best side in the Championship, playing at thier best.

The Cardiff goal was a special but helped massively by poor defending by Killa and Walker.

Best goal for us would be between the two mentioned previously, Camara and Treacy. My favourite was Wardy against the oinkmasters.

3rd - Ward v Grunters, everyone loves a close range rocket.

2nd - The pig own goal think it was the 3rd?

1st - Treacy, Top Quality strike from a Low Quality player!

All goals scored against SUFC are classed as soft and lucky.
