Best Blades XI for a T-Shirt/poster design

Stabcliffe as our best centre half ever? A man who was adequate in the second tier but clearly not good enough for the first. Seriously? (I have traumatic late 80's memories of watching Stan's Bambi on ice impersonations when he came up against any half decent striker in Division 2).

He clearly wasnt but how many Blades Legends teams does Bob Booker get into? As youll remember, he was no Zidane.

Stancliffe was a top captain, a real rock when the club was going through some pretty turbulent times. Joined us in the third division, left us in the first. And he listened to Genesis at Wembley Arena every Friday night. That takes guts if nothing else.

You want 2 full backs - I would suggest Badger and Graham Shaw (one of only 7 post war England internationals for us - he must be a shoe in there) and 2 central midfielders, one defensive (Needham) and one attacking (Hagan). Centre backs should be J. Shaw and Jags At right mf I would put Currie and left mf probably Fred Tunstall or Alf Rinsgstead. I would have Harry Johnson (top scorer in the club's history) and Deane as fowards. Hodgy in goal.

Stan may have been a reasonably good player when United were battling around the lower divisions in the 80's and he may make a "legends of the last 30 years team", but as United's best centre half ever? No way Jose.

T-Shirt/poster design

First up thanks again to everyone for getting involved.
I really do prefer to get these things 'right' and have them as fans of a particular club would expect them to be etc.

The design needed to be finished last week as it was appearing as in a Four Four Two article along with a selection of my other work
However, I am open to doing a new one if there is enough demand

Heres a few answers to points raised:

1. T-Shirts are on my to do list (wont take long) I promise I will post a link on here when they are ready
2. Are people interested in 2 designs, one being all time legends and the other being modern day heroes? Im happy to do both but would need a definitive line up that you all agreed upon
3. Im happy to do any formation including 2-3-5, just so long as there was a consensus on the line up and formation
4. Kenilworth - thank you very much I really appreciate that, I didnt even realise they were on twitter, im on there myself as @miniboro_dotcom in case anyone wants to follow the progress of this design etc
