Going to be a top player by the look of it but not one that will be joining Utd anytime soon.

Did well for Leeds and improved as a player there but if Brighton have any sense, they'll keep and play him next season

Price is governed by the selling club. You either pay the price quoted or you don't get the man you're after. That's the approach United should and seem to be taking. It's about kin time too!

He's 4 years older now. White is 23.

At lockdown though, he was still 25, had already finished an excellent Championship campaign and was completing a superb Premiership one. So no less than White to be honest and he featured in a team finishing 9th not scraping in at 17th.

He has the added component that he's naturally left footed and let's be right he pissed all over Mings who is now a regular feature for England.

According to Transfermarkt, which I know is a bunch of German students in their bedroom, but White is 'worth' 28m, Mings who should have been part of a relegated Villa team last season is 'worth' 30m and O'Connell comes in at 5m.

I know who I'd want defending for my life if he was back to fitness and it wouldn't be the clumsy lump at Villa.

I do hope Jack can get back on track. We might not get the eye watering value he was perhaps deservedly worth before injury but he can be a bloody good component in the team.
