BBC Sport's Pat Murphy on the latest in Sheffield United's search for a new manager: "Sheffield United would have to be patient if they really want Nigel Clough to be their next manager.
"Clough is still waiting for compensation to be sorted out by Derby County, who sacked him just over a fortnight ago and although he is the bookies' favourite for the Sheffield job, I understand Clough wants the financial situation of four members of his backroom also finalised. They are on gardening leave. The process may take some time.
"There is no indication Clough really wants the job. He has been in management for nearly 15 years - 10 with Burton Albion and almost five at Derby - and he may prefer to recharge his batteries once he gets resolution with Derby, rather than go straight back into management."
