Good to listen to Harry, he's old school, but like to listen to him.

I think Hodges would make my fantasy side as well. Loved watching him play as he could pull something sublime out of the bag... Most of the time he was a lazy sod though. He's the player I wish Baxter would turn out to be.

I'd have put Rees, Kelly or Tracey above Beasant though. Just shows how much of an eye for a keeper Harry had.

Harry's comments about Gayle are spot on, he was a leader. No nonsense and hard as nails, loved a hoof into row zz of the south stand. He's the centre half and captain we miss. If Adkins does one thing this sesson he needs to look back at stancliffes, Gayle, Morgan, dougie Hodgson, holdsworth type centre halves and get one of them. Hard as nails captain. Although preferably without Gayles glass knees :)

Gage ahead of Bradshaw??! WTF. Bradders is still my favourite right back (I started watching early 90's) ahead of Borbokis, Lowton, Naughton and Walker. I liked Gage, but Braddhaw was hard as nails and talented.

Yeah I'd agree. Bradders was a legend.

Remember shearer getting him sent off and his battle with Stuart 'Psycho' Pearce in front of John street west. He battered Pearce with the first 50/50 and Pearce shat it after that.

I'm also surprised there's no room for Dane Whitehouse

Harry knows best.

But no Tony Agana !!!

Dave Beasant over Alan Kelly and all those Internatinal caps !!

Vinny fucking Jones. You having a giraffe :-)

Happy days those Bassett days.

Swiss , Good memory that . Was in the south stand and Pearce ( supposedly hard man ) was shit scared of bradders , and was pulling out of tackles . Bradshaw was hard but fair .

Deane and Agana for me , up front , and agree with Harry with the rest.

I know long ball , hoof football is knocked continually , but people tend to forget both Wimbledon and SUFC could play football.

Liverpool , Arsenal hit 20/ 40 yards ball and it was deemed as class . One rule for one , one rule for another.

Enjoyed that Loughboro.
