If we win 3 nil and Doncaster lose 3 nil then it's all to play for. After saying that pigs might fly. I think we are down and have been for weeks, the Reading max has just given a glimmer of hope.
We still need a Lazarus type miracle or the second coming.

I hope the residents of Barnsley enjoy their annual day out in Sheffield, where they can travel through the magical Tankersley time tunnel, where they get to glimpse what life is like in the future with modern wonders like pipes where water comes out from, carts that can move under their power instead of getting pulled by horses, and new fangled electricity.

I agree, it pretty much seems that a shot on target is all thats needed to beat Simonsen at the moment (actually if you manage to cross the ball into the box, he'll give the ball a helping hand on its way to the net).

It is just cruel to even start thinking we can escape releagtion against these odds. In the past when we've just needed to avoid a loss we've never managed it. For some reason our star players manage to stick their hands up and give away penalties, or miss scoing penalties in the last minute, or concede stupid goals in the last minute, or other teams score with a shot that bounces three times and the goaly dives under it. So we have absolutely no chance of overturning a six goal deficit. Not a cat in hell's chance. Forget it.
HA HA! Agreed. It'd be devastating for us to take it right to the wire only for, 'The Chuckle Brothers' (Simonsen & Collins) to concede a couple of horrendous goals to finally relegate us. I for one, DON'T think we will get out of it, but, to get so close and have these couple of fuckin goons mess it up would be hard to take!!!

I had a dream last night - Blades won 5-1 but both Donny and Palace drew. I woke up depressed even though I'd resigned us to relegation several weeks ago.
well as we seem to get relegated against all odds on final day of the season, logic dictates that since the odds are stacked against us staying up, logically we should do it on last day of season against all odds, so have a little faith
i honestly cant see donny and palace getting points vs foxs n tigers respectively, id love to see both get a huge spanking 5 or 6 against but ill settle for 3 or 4-0 in both games and us spank dingles 4-0 giving us every chance to pull off the greatest escape EVER on last day of season against the odds of staying up for a change.
oh and since bent has gone back, his 3 goals will be far better than monty's 30yd screamer, over 50mile screamers

I know it's easy to say and harder to do, but we just need to focus on winning our match. 3 wins on the bounce is progress and given the rest of the results this year it'd be great just to stay in the winning habbit.
Getting the squad to play with pride until the final whistle of the final game would go a long way for me too, no matter how results turn out against Barnsley.
