Anybody else noticed that we've used our away shirt in EVERY away game this season?

I bet we've never got to the New Year doing that before. We use it when we don't need to. e.g. Ipswich away etc.

When Wilder first came in, I noticed that rather than wear the away kit, we ended up changing the shorts or socks instead so that we could wear the home shirt. We had combinations away from home using Red-Black-black, Red-White-Black and Red-Black-White. We seemed to only use our away kit in the L1 title season (which we never lost in btw) when a genuine kit clash occurred.

So... how come we are now using it every away game now?
There's a theory about luminous kits in that they're so bright that it creates a false sense of reality and so it appears more players are on the pitch to opposition players, thus making it a difficult colour to play against (I say it's only a theory)...

Anyway... Looks like Norwich away will be the first time we wear our home kit away.

I find shit like this interesting anyway

Was trying to explain the concept of away kits to my 6 year old daughter when we played Wigan. 'But our Red & White shirt wouldn't clash with their blue one' was the response. I struggled to explain that one away.

We move onto the offside rule next

Where’s that theory come from? I’d like to read more about that if you have a link. I find stuff like that interesting as well

I don’t know about anyone else, but when playing football myself I always preferred bright, garish kits. Much easier to see your team mates. Same thing with bibs in training. Always preferred to be bright yellow bibs.

My brother in law did a dissertation on football shirts. I think he put it in there. Will try and dig it out

I was thinking about this in the shower earlier (as you do), when wendy came to the lane in November they wore white shorts with their kit. So will we do the same at their place in March, essentially wearing all white with some red stripes on the front or will we wear the away kit?

I think that game will go against the grain. The way the season is going we will wear the home kit at Norwich definitely, but then probably pigs because "derbies should be played in home kits"
