Sheffield United are offering season ticket holders the chance to bring two family members or friends to either of two of the upcoming home fixtures completely free of charge!

In an attempt to maximise the atmosphere and help inspire the players towards the goal of automatic promotion, the Blades will be giving tickets for the Bramall Lane Upper Tier to those taking up the offer.

The Blades hope to replicate the red hot atmosphere of an away day when forthcoming home games kick off at Bramall Lane.

Unitedites have travelled to away fixtures in tremendous numbers this season, the vocal backing assisting Danny Wilson’s team chalk up 11 victories on the road in an entertaining campaign.

The aim now is to create an away day feel inside the Lane… and in the process reward Season Ticket Holders for their loyalty.

For either of the Tuesday night home encounters with Crawley Town or Brentford, current Season Ticket Holders can claim two free tickets to bring family members or friends.

The free tickets will be in the Bramall Lane Upper Tier – the traditional away stand at S2, helping create an away day feel.

“Vociferous backing for Blades from all four stands at Bramall Lane will be an undoubted advantage,” said Operations Director, Dave McCarthy.

“This is a win-win situation, we can reward Season Ticket Holders by offering additional tickets for family and friends and create an unbelievable atmosphere – the only people who do not benefit is the opposition, who, we hope, will be stepping into a daunting arena.”

“The aim is to inspire both our players and fans – we all know the benefits should we reach our ultimate goal of promotion and everyone can play their part.”

Being "away" will make another 0 - 0 seem like a good result ....

I already have a ticket for Brentford but I was going to have to skip the Crawley match due to funds (already bought Swindon tickets too).

If some kind soul would like to donate a couple of tickets for the Crawley match I'd be very grateful.

I have about 10K in loyalty points if anyone cares about that :)

Since when has a bigger, noisier crowd at the lane ever given us an advantage under Wilson?

There's two going on my ST if anyone wants 'em.

PM me.

If any one who sits on the kop wants to give me a few tickets I'm sure I can donate to their beer fund.

Don't forget to return your full price Brentford tickets and then find a season ticket holder to donate before the WIN WIN situation is taken up by all those part time fans who only go on offers.

But surely if they only go on offers, they wouldn't have bought a full price ticket in the first place.

or can't afford every game

Sounds like a Tory to me

I'm pointing out that those who have bought full price tickets get no benefit.
have the people who've bought tickets been down to the ticket office with their STH friend to sort it out and get a refund, or just thrown a paddy on the Internet?

I don't know? You seem to know them because you think they have thrown a paddy on the internet. Perhaps you could ask them?

My ST freebies have gone to marky200484 but I'm sure there are more people with STs who would happily oblige if anyone else needs tickets.

If any ST holder, particularly exiled, needs any tickets fetching for their mates, I'll be down at the Lane tomorrow after work. You could chuck me your loyalty number through on a PM along with which match you want and I'll collect them for you... you'll have to come and find me in the Lion on Tuesday evening to get them from me.

What he said for me also, anyone care to donate me a ticket or two please?

OK I'm on the scrounge for Brentford due to a work stopover in the great city.

Of anyone can do me two tickets it would be appreciated to the tune of a pint or two before the game and a donation to S24SU.

Let me know here or via PM. Apparently I'd you are quick Linz will even fetch them for you :D

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but can I phone and get them to post them to me for the cost of postage? I'm likely to have a few spare tickets if so.

Right... so far I've managed to match one spare number (thanks Northyorksblade) to a scrounger ;) (Russ)

Can anyone help out SellyOakBlade with a spare loyalty number?

EDIT: Selly's sorted now.

Any more for any more? I'm currently collecting 10 tickets :)

Seeing as this forum costs Foxy and Linz quite a bit to run, they why don't those who are after the free tickets make a small donation to this site as a token of gratitude, lets say a fiver as thanks for getting something for free due to this website

Are you giving yours to Bert? That's worth a fiver of mine all day long.

Linz, if all that's needed is a loyalty point number then mine's available for Tuesday's game. Cost is a small donation to the site.
