Been only the 3rd home game I've got to this season, but the atmosphere was impressive, especially second half. The new goal music was brilliant and really sounded good when the red and white army chant started. Take my hand song sent shivers down my spine and the 'Sheffield united' repeated song sounded great. Not many better atmospheres in English grounds than the back of our Kop. UTB

It makes you wonder where the atmosphere has been all season...what happened to our ultras...

An end to Tom Hark was always going to bring a better atmosphere back to the Lane.

Sat in the middle of the South Stand on Saturday and from where I was, the atmosphere on the kop didn't sound or appear anything special. Soz but it's true...

...which is quite astounding when you consider the number of posts over the years saying how much better it would be now all the glory supporters have disappeared into the ether.

It was like a remembrance service until we had the game sewn up. Which was a shame because it was the most backable performance in ages...

I must be one of the few that likes Seven Nation Army no more than Tom Hark. Especially seeing as how all and bloody sundry have been doing it for months, including after every goal at the Euros!

And while I'm at it, I'd ban every chant allegedly sung to the tune of Sloop John B. They are all dreadful, without exception, particularly the "X is a shithole, I want to go home" one.

Am a fan of The White Stripes, but not a fan of goal music. Just let us celebrate how we want to ffs. Spontaneity over orchestrated American style wank every day of the week.

Oh yes, I like the song (and indeed Sloop John B) but I don't like goal music and definitely not goal music that everyone else was using months ago.

We should blaze trails of our own. If we MUST have goal music, we should go for something that nobody else uses. Like the music from the Herbie films, for example.

They are deliberately not playing the music straight away now, they have decided to let us celebrate how we want first.

They should play no music after a goal, what is the point of it? Does it make people enjoy the goal more? I don't think so.

The same goes for playing John Denver at the start of each half. We'll sing it regardless, so let's not embarrass ourselves.

Yes, there are always better renditions when we are away with no music to help us.

Yup, just like all the J2O drinkers were going to pour into pubs when smoking was banned.
