The club are shite, down with the club... except its not the club that sets the prices in the FA cup.... is it?

Full price for 15,000 seson ticket holders is £12 tomorrow. If that's too expensive, they should take up chess.

I'm referring to general policy...what they have done with day ticket prices.....pay at the gates and on the day.....plus we dont seem to populate the upper tier anymore with the sound of 2000 pre-pubescent screams.

I'm sure we would get more fans in the Lane if we showed more flexibility to get those occasional fans back.

Have got to agree...whats wrong with a quid a kid plus ther are no discounts for season ticket holders on the day!!!!!!! Some of us cannot just drop in a the ground or wait 20 mins on the phone for tickets due to work commitments! and the poxy online system is not working again!!!!!!!!!!!

Pay on the day prices for Cat A ad A+ are really silly this season, agreed. I also agree we messed up season ticket sales. If we had such little faith in Blackwell, we should have at least cashed in by sacking him before season tickets went on sale.

Generally I think our promotions have improved enormously under McCabe. It's one of the few things he's got right, IMHO.

I've generaly got through quite quickly over the phone, which is just as well because 0870 numbers make my blood boil.

What about the really radical idea of including the first FA Cup match or League match (if drawn at home) in the price of a season ticket! Instead we end up with small crowds and a poor atmosphere. You never know it may help improve future sales ...God knows they will need to come up with something good for next season!

FA Cup money is split 3 ways, if SUFC give you a ticket worth £24 then SUFC would still have to pay our opponents and the FA their cut, so it starts to cost the club money.

Equally, reduced prices have to be agreed with the opponents and the FA, we can override them, but we still have to pay them their cut.

It would get to the stage where the Club charge you £12 - give £6 to our opponents and £6 to the FA - probably the way to the poor house, or in our position, out of the poor house and into the backyard.

I think today is good value.
If they did say 1st FA cup game included and added £10 to the season ticket, Then those that didnt have season ticket paid £15 or £17 how would that work?

Yes, £12 for a game of football is excellent at any level. I bet you're lucky to get into some of the League 2 grounds for that.

But it doesn't matter how cheap it is if it costs you half as much again to buy the thing. I can easily buy theatre & cinema tickets online AND pick my actual seat. It's about time the club sorted this.
