I know we've apparently made 2 approaches, but in other sources I read that some of the other 5 are still in with a shout, particularly Morgan who can be approached on the internal phone.

All I'm reading now is this player has been released, that players has been released. The longer we leave it, the more players we are likely to miss out on if they're trying to sign something before going on holiday.

There's waiting so you make the right decision and there's taking too long over it. I assume we've been thinking about it since we booted DW, so I hope it's not going to drag on into June.

Double edged sword...rush the appointment and get the wrong man and it could set us back.....again....!

I would rather them take their time, (but not too long) and get the right man, whoever that may be, and give us the best possible chance of rebuilding correctly to get us out of this mess..

I'd assume there's a lot not being reported and remember, the season actually hasn't finished yet! There's still a playoff final to go and we've had our last game earlier than usual.

If we get someone appointed within the next 7 days, I think we'll have actually worked really quite quickly. There are a lot of clubs in the same boat without a manager at the moment.

I really think McCall will be appointed as early as Monday. Just a gut feeling of course.
